Fred was honored with the Top National Producer Award for 2024 by the Realtors Land Institute (RLI), a national organization of land professionals. With more than 40 years of experience managing forests throughout the Pacific Northwest, Fred brings deep expertise in nearly every aspect of forestry. Over the past 25 years, Fred has been directly involved in forest land transactions in a variety of roles, giving him a well-rounded perspective on rural real estate. He also has extensive experience working with county, state, and federal agencies—navigating regulatory frameworks that are critical to landowners and buyers alike. In 2012, Fred and his wife, Jean, founded Northwest Forest Properties. In 2022, they merged operations with AFM Real Estate to expand services for buyers and sellers of forest, rural, recreation, and conservation lands across the Northwest. Fred is a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters, the Realtors Land Institute, and the Society of American Foresters. He is a licensed real estate broker in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.
