American Forest Management, Inc. and Northwest Forest Properties Celebrate a Successful Merger
AFM Real Estate, a subsidiary of American Forest Management, Inc., has acquired Northwest (NW) Forest Properties, a Forest Land Sales and Acquisitions firm based in Eugene, Oregon.
NW Forest Properties was established in 2012 by husband and wife, Fred and Jean Sperry. Mr. and Mrs. Sperry believe the merger is mutually advantageous for NW Forest Properties, AFM Real Estate, and their clients.
“We are a local team of people that our clients recognize and trust. We appreciate the genuineness of AFM Real Estate leadership and feel very comfortable working with them. Since AFM Real Estate is already established in retail forestland in the Pacific Northwest, combining our resources with AFM Real Estate will allow us to build on what is already successful and will enable us to take it to the next level,” said Mr. Sperry.
Mr. Sperry’s well-qualified real estate team has decades of experience in forestry and agriculture, which makes them a stellar addition to AFM Real Estate’s team of real estate professionals with similar backgrounds.
“Northwest Forest Properties has an excellent reputation and track record, and we believe this acquisition is a great combination of cultures and talent,” said Brent Keefer, CEO of American Forest Management, Inc.
The merger allows AFM Real Estate to expand its footprint in the Pacific Northwest with nine team members located throughout Oregon and Washington, servicing clients interested in rural land, timberland, farm and ranch land, conservation properties, recreational properties, and rural home sites.
“Our existing team, alongside the NW Forest Properties team, will further cement AFM Real Estate as the leader in land sales in Oregon and Washington. This acquisition will enhance our ability to respond to strong western land markets, provide the best transaction advice, and create lasting relationships,” said Chris Miller, Director of Real Estate Services.
